What is revitalization in the local church?
Church revitalization is the supernatural work of God that restores health in a church, evidenced by submission to God’s Word, right relationships among members and a renewed commitment to Great Commission ministry.
Dry Creek’s Revitalization Update
In the last couple of years, Dry Creek was averaging 6-12 people in attendance and had stopped all Sunday school classes, and our pastor of over 25 years retired in October of 2023. The members of Dry Creek continued to pray that God would send us people and a pastor. In October of 2024, God answered our prayers in sending us a pastor.
Since October of 2024, we have seen our weekly attendance steadily increase and we have had several people join the church by God’s grace!
Since the beginning of 2025, we have resumed Sunday school, started a second Sunday potluck meal, and have seen more adults and kids of all ages join us for worship than we have had in the last 5 years! We have had one person come to saving faith in Jesus Christ and had the first baptism at Dry Creek in 9 years! God is so good!
